What we learned

For you people who are as much as a Star Wars nerd as I am, you'd probably know that Star Wars Celebration Orlando 2017 is going on this weekend.  For those of you who don't know what's going on in the world of Star Wars, let me bring ya up to speed:

If you didn't know, Star Wars Rebels Season 3 ended on an epic note!  It had a beautiful ending with Grand Admiral Thrawn delivering a devastating blow to the Rebel Alliance.  If you haven't seen the Season Finale for Star Wars Rebels Season 3, go watch the two part episode now.  It was epic!

Here is the mid-season trailer from earlier this year:

I believe that looking back, Season 1 of Rebels was about establishing the main Characters, and ending with a threat of what was to come.  Season 2 was more focused on Ezra and Kanan's relationship, and Ezra's force powers being realized.  I think it also showed the Dark threat of the Empire slowly getting stronger as the Rebellion starts to slowly come together.  Especially with the use of the overarching threat of Darth Vader over the entire season, but not knowing when he would returned was a good added feature.  The season finale of season 2 left the main characters, especially Ezra, questioning themselves and thinking that they had failed.

And here we were in season 3, with the introduction of Grand Admiral Thrawn.  Thrawn sits back and watches for most of the season.  It isn't until close to the end of season 3 that Thrawn makes his move.  It also brings back the Mandalorian archs, which I am more than positive will come back in season 4.

Season 4 has been confirmed.  Dave Filoni, the director of Star Wars Rebels, has also confirmed that Season 4 will be the last season of Star Wars Rebels.  I can only guess that the series will end at the Battle of Scarif, where the new movie Rogue One ended.  I hope that they bring in Director Krennic as a character as well, since the Death Star is nearing its completion.  I also hope that Cassian and a few of the other characters from Rogue One get thrown in here too.  Filoni stated that season 4 will still have those light moments seen in all the seasons, but he also said that as we get closer to the Rogue One/Episode 4 time period, we will see the show start to get ever darker as the empire tries to put an end to the rebellion.

Here is the newly released trailer for Season 4 of Star Wars Rebels:

Next I'm gonna talk about the new Star Wars Battlefront II game.  It seems like it is gonna be a good one.  It has been confirmed to have a Single Player Campaign - thankfully!!! It seems to have a few good mods to be coming to it - it won't be a complete demo game like the last Star Wars Battlefront game.  It seems that it might be focused on the point of view of the Galactic Empire.

It was revealed that the story for the campaign will take place right at the end of Return of the Jedi and connect that story to the new star wars movies - the Force Awakens.  It also seems that all eras of star wars - Prequel, Original, and New - will all be playable. Also it looks like that they are gonna bring back the character classes that were in the original Star Wars Battlefront games.  They are gonna bring back Space Battles too.  It seems like this game will redeem the demo game we got a couple years ago when the force awakens came out :)
World Wide release is November 17, 2017.

And here we go.  The final thing I'm gonna bring ya up to speed with is the new Star Wars the Last Jedi movie coming out this December! I believe, if I heard correctly, Carrie Fisher, before she passed away, did shoot some scenes that will remain in this movie.  It seems that the Last Jedi will go deeper into Rey's story, which is awesome because I thought that was the biggest flaw with the first movie.
Daisy Ridley said that one of the biggest things we will be happy about is "Luke's first words." :D
There are gonna be new characters put in, and the return of some old ones.  It seems like this one is gonna be a really good movie.

By the way - if you've never heard Mark Hamill talk about star wars or anything for that matter, change that.  Mark Hamill is hilarious to listen to :)

So here ya are Star Wars The Last Jedi Trailer:

Hey all!!  Happy 40 years of Star Wars!!!!!!!!

Here again are few awesome videos regarding Star Wars over the years!!!

Here is, in my opinion, the best lightsaber/force power scene in Star Wars history.  (Rogue One spoilers if you haven't seen it yet):
