Abatral History III

Don't forget to Follow and +1 this blog

Well, since the next couple days are gonna be pretty full, I've decided just to post more of the Abatral History onto here, so I have something to still talk about.  These next few stories about the Aidis actually have more of an in-depth story - more so than the last one.  I think one day they will make a pretty cool story if I actually write something on them.  For now, however, I will have to be happy with what I got, and continue on writing my current Illum Story.

Don't forget to read the first two parts - Part I, Part II

Leave some comments - tell me what you think.

Hope you enjoy :)

The Third Aidis

The Third Aidis was an Elf – Eliezer – who easily united the Elves into the Elvish Kingdom.  Early on they found a great Kide Crystal, deeply connected to the Eternal Realm and Viius, which is how they found out about Viius.  Eliezer led the Elves to construct the Viius Sanctum around the Giant Kide Crystal.  Viius was worshiped with extreme devotion.  The only other God that they worshiped was Baesaestia, the God of Balance – one of the original seven Kandryls.  The Elves were deeply connected to magic, as the Giant Kide Crystal filled the entire Elvish Kingdom with Vikus.  Eliezer then formed the Elvish government, where the Elves created a council of leadership, which had seven members – Economy, War, Foreign Affairs, Culture, High Priest, People’s Representative, and Lord.  One of the members, the oldest and wisest, would become the leader of the Council – The Lord.  Naturally, Eliezer became the Lord of the Elves – his family establishing themselves as the Lord of the Elves, out of a decision made by the Elvish People.
Lord Eliezer became keenly aware that the Kingdom of Man was falling apart.  Eventually, the Great Kingdom did fall apart, with the death of the King of Man and most of the Royal Family.  With no leadership for the Kingdom of Man, the different factions within broke apart and formed small city states, that constantly warred with each other.
Lord Eliezer attempted to aid the humans to unite again, but humanity saw the Elves as a threat, trying to invade their lands.  This led to some armies of men to raid the outskirts of the Elvish Kingdom, killing many Elves.  Lord Eliezer’s War Councilman, created a new weapon.  He embedded the arrows that the Elves would make with Vikus.  This made it so whenever an Elvish arrow was fired, it would never miss its target – as long as the user had the ability to use Vikus.
The War Councilman formed an army of Elves, armed with these new arrows and with Elvish swords – which were also embedded with magic (most having varying abilities).  He led this army out to meet the humans, and it was a mass slaughter for the humans.  The humans grew to fear the Elves and believed that they would conquer all of them.
Lord Eliezer was furious with his War Councilman, mostly because of the mass slaughter, but also because the War Councilman didn’t get consent from the rest of the Council.  The council then voted to remove the War Councilman.  The War Councilman was angry with the Elves, and Exiled himself from the Elvish Kingdom, taking a few Elves that were loyal to him, and went to the island of Dokel, to join in the Okred society.
In response to the death, many Councilmen believed that the Elves had lost their way.  They opened up an academy, where they could study and be disciplined in the use of Vikus so that the Elves would never bring harm to those who did not truly pose a threat to them.
Lord Eliezer spent most of his life helping to mend the fear that the humans had towards the Elves.  After almost 200 years, he finally got to a point where humanity was tired of fearing the Elves.  However, they started fighting amongst themselves again, starting mini-wars.  Lord Eliezer wanted to stop this, but he received his vision from Viius, that it was time to pass on the Spirit of Lumir.
Lord Eliezer was sad that he had failed at his mission to unite the Realm.  But he traveled to the north, to Dwarfish lands.  He passed the Spirit of Lumir on to a dwarfish girl, who had recently been born.
Lord Eliezer returned to the Elvish Kingdom, feeling weaker now that the Spirit of Lumir was not with him.  He was prepared to meet his death.  His youthfulness rapidly degenerated, and in his last months, he wrote books of wisdom that would be used in the academy made for his people, so that no Elf would forget who they are.  They would become known as the Teachings of Eliezer.  When Eliezer passed away, by the will of the Council, Eliezer’s son was given Lordship.  Eliezer’s wife was given the position of Cultural Council Member.
