Movie Review

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted anything.
But you know how it is.
School and stuff lol.

STORY UPDATE:

So basically I hit some writers block on this.  However, I managed to draw some basic story boards, so that I could see what all I had to write about so far.  Well I did that - not gonna post it though because you probably couldn't read or see anything (it's very small) - and am writing again.  The ended of the story is gonna be a real cliff hanger by the way :D

So today I'm basically gonna do another movie review that I watched this past Sunday.  It was an amazing "Feels" movie - one that really touched my heart, as does anything 9/11 related.

It is a little bit about the "Worse Day," but is truly amazing.

Alrighty, let's get started:

The movie is called Extremely loud and incredibly close.  I believe it will hit the hearts of all Americans who watch it.  And though the character of the boy in the movie may not have known it, this movie speaks beyond the kid trying to find the lock for this key that his father had "left behind."

It is a movie about Family.  A movie about the fact that everyone has a story to tell.  Everyone faces there own problems, makes their own mistakes, and become who they are because of them.  It reminded me, especially with all the riots going on now, that we aren't so much different from one another.  We are all broken in someway.  And we all have a story to tell.

It only briefly talks about 9/11.  It only briefly talks about that dark day - "The Worse Day."  But still drags you into the story.  It still connects you to it.  I believe this is because 9/11 was very real, and should never be forgotten.

It also made me have the sad realization that not everyone's parents got to come home at the end of that day.  Not everyone survived.  Not everyone had a happy ending.  Many were not ok for years after what happened.

One of my favorite quotes from this movie is this:
"So many people will enter and leave your life.  You can't be afraid.  Sometimes we have to face our fears."

The movie stars:
Thomas Horn, Tom Hanks, and Sandra Bullock.

As far as I know, this movie is still on Netflix, so go check it out whenever you get the chance, cause I highly recommend it :)
